Moron was first used in English in 1910 meaning “dull” which is the opposite of the word sharp.
Coming from the Greek word “moros”.
It then transformed the meaning in to describing a persons mental age between 8 and 12.
In the dictionary, from the definition, It basically means retarded.
Nowadays when you call someone or something a moron, you mean to call them idiotic.
